This coastal city is bustling with business and a commercial port, with a population of over 5 million people. The dark underbelly of this vibrant city involves the grave epidemic of human trafficking—traumatizing women and children every single day.
Over and over we’ve heard the sentiment, Dar es Salaam needs a Courage House.
We are so excited to share we have officially opened the doors of Courage House Dar es Salaam. We are ready to welcome home 16 child survivors of sex trafficking at this campus, beginning this year—offering them love, safety, belonging, and the resources they need to embark on their journey of healing.
