this progress is real.
vision is becoming tangible.
and with your support, we can open the doors to courage house nevada even sooner.
The immediate investment needed to open our doors in early November 2025 to our first six girls is $2.5 million. This critical funding will cover:
-
Renovation and outfitting of the original home on 40-acres
-
Hiring and training a skilled, trauma-informed staff
-
Program development and licensing
-
Renovation and built-out of equine therapy facilities
-
Paying off the bridge loan for the initial property purchase.
We are thrilled to share we've already secured $1,650,000 in public and private support, including a generous grant from Washoe County. Even more exciting, a $750,000 bridge loan made possible by a supporter has allowed us to purchase our Nevada home—setting the stage for permitting, budgeting for opening operations, and beginning construction on three additional cottages.
