When I think of my life before Courage House… cruel, troublemaking, stressed. Now, the three words would be… educated, bright future, Holy Spirit. Courage House totally changed my life physically, mentally, and spiritually. Now I am born again and I know God has prepared this place for me. I know that I was born with a purpose for a purpose. Also, Courage House changed my mentality. Before coming to Courage House, I didn’t accept myself. Now, I realize that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I know I am precious in front of the Lord. I have good physical health because I have been in this good place. Thank you God.
After coming to Courage House, I started secondary school and finished with a certificate. Because of Courage, I am now studying in college to become a teacher and I graduate this May with my certificate. I will continue my studies to become a good teacher. At Courage House, after sharing my burdens with my counselor, I realized I wasn’t a bad person, I just never had anyone to share my issues with. I learned to have fun with others which creates unity. I have confidence that I can sing and dance. Family lunch helps me to feel like Courage House is a home and this is the place I was supposed to be. I can stand and testify to the goodness of God. I can preach, even when I am at college. I testified to this goodness of God and his grace. I can sing very well on the praise and worship team. I have been filled by the Holy Spirit and God really appeared in my life in every situation. Through Courage Leadership Academy, I can lead myself and am faithful. I can go out of Courage House all on my own in practical and fun activities. I followed Courage House rules, and now I am faithful and can also lead others. Courage House staff may be blessed. In my life, in bad situations, they were there for me to encourage me and helping me to feel like I am at home. Even if I could find the words to tell you, all Courage supporters, I couldn’t finish. May God bless you and your family, and your children, and their children and the generations after and after for the place that you are giving us. May God increase this a thousand times. It is my dream to become a good teacher, to teach students and share the goodness of God in my life. I want to help others and have my own school to help teachers and students.
