What Are You Doing on Thanksgiving?

We are just one month away from Courage's Annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day! This year, the event will look a little different. For the first time, it will be a virtual event! We are looking forward to having people from around the world join us for a 5k or 10k to run so she doesn't have to. This event has become one of our favorite annual traditions! Join us in running or walking a 5k/10k before you enjoy Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends. Maybe you are thinking to yourself: What is a virtual event? A virtual event is just like our traditional event but you run or walk wherever you are. Register between now and November 9th (so you get a bib, t-shirt and medal) then on Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, you pick your start time and go!  You choose. You can run outside on a trail, a street in your neighborhood or on a treadmill at your gym. Wherever you want, whenever you want; alone or with whomever you want! The goal is to have people from all over the world participating in this event on the same day using their voices to say “it is wrong for a child to be sold for sex”!

The whole family can participate in this event! Whether you are a running enthusiast or not, you can take it at your own pace and most importantly, support victims of trafficking at Courage House. If you're looking for a fun way to help others, this is the perfect opportunity! Friends, family, fun and fundraising - all in one event in your own hometown.

Today, October 20th, is the final day for early bird registration with a special individual price of $30, and for big groups of more than 10 members, $25 per person. After today, the cost is $35 per person with a $5 shipping fee for the Turkey Trot t-shirt, medal and bib. Bigger groups of 10 or more get a discounted rate of $30 per person.
