We provide a safe home for children who have been sold by one individual to another individual for the perverse pleasure of one and the profit of another.
There are no words to describe what it does to the soul of a child when they are sold for sex. They are stripped of their value, their dignity and their will. Their body suffers but so does their mind and their spirit. It takes time to restore all that they have been robbed of.
That is why we need more Courage Houses – a home where all their physical, mental, emotional and spiritual needs are met. A place where they can obtain an education while receiving the trauma counseling they require to be able to laugh and play again; to be children again.
