When we opened Courage Houses back in 2010, we had no idea what we didn't know.
We were so naïve about the population we had vowed to serve. We didn’t know what it truly meant to love, to provide homes and resources for children who had suffered abuse and lack in their childhoods and further exploitation in the world of human trafficking.
We just said yes to the question, “why don’t you do something?”
Twelve years later, our hearts are still broken for these vulnerable children and we are committed more than ever to their healing journey and hope-filled futures.
Our faith filled “yes” has led us to hundreds of young girls who, without your financial support, would not have a safe home filled with choices and opportunities for their tomorrow. I wish I could tell you their names, show you their photos, and tell you their stories–but their stories are theirs to share when and if they choose. You may never know their names but they know yours and your faithfulness to our mission and vision. They pray for you and thank God for you. Though you will never meet, you have had an integral part in their lives and their future. From them, from me… thank you.
Your giving has not only provided them a home, education, therapy, food, and clothing but your giving has ensured their babies–their children–will not be placed in such a vulnerable position to experience the trauma they have. Your giving is not only changing the futures of the residents at Courage House, you are changing the lives of the next generation.
